Databasement BV wanted a portal built on top of the NetApp software by Network Appliance Inc., one of the most trendsetting back solutions providers in the world. Byelex not only developed the entire portal, it also wrote interfaces onto the filers of NetApp. The system was built using Java Server Faces, a PostgreSQL database, and runs on the Sun ONE Application platform on top of Linux. The graphics shown here are rendered using Flash components and the whole system is multilingual, giving Databasement the freedom to roll out the portal across Europe.
